About the Project:
The community of Eastmark wanted an iconic monument that would herald a sense of arrival to the development. The structure would mix elements of corten steel for the main structure with board-formed concrete for the array of seven plinths leading up to it. The structure is 15’ tall and 80’ long and the plinths range in size from 9’ to 21’ long. The design team incorporated triangular cutouts in the structure to emulate the fun burst of confetti.
This project won the IES Award of Distinction at the Phoenix Section IES Illumination Awards in 2024.
