Experiential lighting design is focused on the key architectural components and the Mediterranean inspired interior design. Framing projectors illuminated dining tables and artwork with surgical precision for dramatic lighting and elegant ambiance. All decorative pendants and sconces, as well as the architectural lighting fixtures, are equipped with warm 2700K LED lamps that provide a consistent ‘candlelight’ glow and provide energy efficiency.

The glass staircase has a 2-story stone wall backdrop that is grazed with a blade of light, articulating the texture with light and shadow. Ambient lighting throughout the second floor defines the beautiful facets of the wood ceiling, while focused projectors outline the signature ‘flapper board’ that announces daily specials and inspired messages. Strategically concealed LED tapelight was incorporated into the bottle racks that illuminated each bottle to glow in a kaleidoscope of colors.

Telescoping window walls blurred the division of the interior and exterior experience, and the lighting seamlessly connected the two with festive custom festoon lighting on the exterior patio. Light levels allow the views to adjacent city plaza to be enjoyed while fine dining at both the upper and lower terraces. Landscape lighting and the glimmering lighting from the European water feature breathe life into the trees and open-air beams above.

The 7,385 SF restaurant also includes a subterranean private dining room served from the main level display kitchen. The kitchen’s Josper grill imported from Barcelona is brilliantly spot-lighted with code required levels from track lighting that is strategically aimed away from the patrons to eliminate glare.

The state-of-the-art dimming system allows user designed scenes for lunch, dinner, and evening settings that are automated with slow transitions.
