Lighting mesh installation was by Carl Stahl Architektur.  Here is a clip from their website, “At Newark Airport in Terminal C, an impressive light sculpture was installed in the restaurant area. The organically shaped steel structure with a height of 8m and a diameter of 6m was covered with our LED network. On the approximately 140m2 mesh area with a mesh size of 90mm there are a total of 17000 LED dots, which can be controlled individually and thus offer a variety of possible light scenes and color animations.”
